An organized fine art inventory is the foundation of every professional appraisal, collection management project, or estate planning process. This service reviews your existing inventory to evaluate whether it contains the information needed for professional use. We assess the completeness, organization, and usability of the inventory and identify any missing or inconsistent information that may affect future appraisal, documentation, insurance, estate planning, donation, or collection management work. Depending on the condition of your inventory, recommendations may include updating existing records, adding essential information, reorganizing the inventory structure, or creating a new inventory if necessary. Typical deliverables may include: - Review of your existing inventory - Identification of missing or incomplete information - Recommendations for improving the inventory structure - Guidance on the information required for professional appraisal and documentation - Written summary of findings and recommended next steps Available as an hourly service or as part of a larger appraisal or collection support project. This service begins at $175 and includes a professional review of your inventory based on the information provided. If additional work is recommended after the initial review, a separate quotation will be provided before any further work begins.

JY&A Booking Policy Payment is required before work begins. Clients are encouraged to provide any available inventories, photographs, supporting documents, and other relevant information before the service begins, whenever applicable. Well-prepared information helps improve efficiency and allows us to determine the most appropriate next step. Any work beyond the purchased service or agreed project scope will begin only after written client approval. Deliverables and the estimated turnaround time will be confirmed once the project scope has been established. If additional services—including travel, on-site visits, photography, documentation support, research, third-party coordination, shipping, storage visits, or other project-related work—are required, a separate quotation will be provided before additional work begins. Whenever appropriate, services are provided remotely to improve efficiency and reduce unnecessary costs. On-site services will be recommended only when professionally necessary. Service fees are non-refundable once work has begun. Our goal is to provide efficient, transparent, and professional support tailored to the needs of each project.
